Don't worry, you're just viewing our brand new website. We're the same friendly, independent team as always... only this time we have a new logo!
We routinely provide 15 minute appointments so that we can give you the time and attention for any of your pet troubles.
We have dedicated theatre and prep rooms, which are well equipped
and with a team of trained veterinary nurses who are ready to care and monitor your pet.
Diagnostics & Laboratory
We have digital radiography equipment and ultrasonography available in order to try and visualise what may be happening inside of your pet.
A comprehensive range of prescriptions are available. Orders placed Monday to Friday before 4pm will be ready to collect by 12pm the following day. Some prescription drugs may need to be ordered in especially for your
pet so may take a little longer.
Our lovely pets never like to time their sickness or accidents by the regular opening hours.
Here at St Johns vets in order to provide the best care day and night, our out of hours emergency care is provided by Vets Now. Call 01442 863101

St John’s Veterinary Surgery is an independent small animal veterinary practice. We are a three-vet practice with Jane Wighton, the Principal veterinary surgeon who is supplemented by the considerable experience and care of vets Louisa Jolliffe and Charlotte Harris. Between them they have over 60 years of experience in the field of small animal veterinary medicine.
We tailor our care to the individual needs of your pets and take great pride in caring for them like our own.
St John’s Veterinary surgery is an RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) Accredited Practice (Tier 2), which means peace of mind for you, quality care for your animals and regular inspections for the practice. The RCVS scheme is a voluntary scheme where we meet certain requirements and specifications of standards of care.
